October 2018 - We had a brilliant evening watching the amazing singer/songwriter and story teller Ralph McTell. Chatted to him afterwards and got his verbal permission to perform 'Streets of London' in our set. Check out the dates on the rest of his tour this year and see if you can catch him (some dates are sold out or close to sellouts so be quick!) http://www.ralphmctell.co.uk/tour/
September 2018 - Well, that was a completely CRACKIN' hour spent with the most excellent Jason and Adam at CHBN in Truro (Hospital). Huge thanks to both of them for having both of us on the show tonight, and for making us feel so welcome.
May 2018 - We played the Bracknell Ale and Cider Festival and we made it into our local paper - The Bracknell News!! A brilliant day, meeting the most excellent people! Hic!!
February 2018 - We have finally got our act together and have launched our first EP. Wittily (!!) entitled 'Sofa, so good...', it contains five of our original songs and it is on sale at £5, with £3 going to the worthy charity, Muscular Dystrophy UK. You can download the digital MP3 of the EP by clicking here.
October 2017 - We recently spent an incredible week on a songwriting course in Devon, mentored by Sir Ray Davies!! The course was organised by the Arvon Foundation and all 16 participants were hand selected from hundreds of entries. We wrote a new song every day and will hopefully be recording a couple of these in the Creative Control studio in January. Tim also acted as sound engineer for our final group performance...
September 2016 - Kim (Toxic) recently had the opportunity to sing backing vocals along with eight other fans on a special 25th Anniversary recording of Right Said Fred's 'I'm Too Sexy'! Recorded at the legendary Metropolis Studios in London, the song is on an EP which will be appearing soon.
January 2016 - Exciting news!! We are starting to plan and put together a video for 'The Window'... We visited the pub where the story behind the song is based today - The Royal Stag in Datchet, Berkshire - and the landlord Will is more than happy for us to film there. Rather eerily, as we stood in the churchyard next door, planning camera angles, etc., it started to snow... Here's a photo of the window in question, from inside the pub - top right hand pane (and yes, we could see a hand print!!). Ooooer....
